Delden
Delden is a town in the municipality of Hof van Twente, in the eastern Netherlands, in the province of Overijssel. It is located approximately 6 kilometers northeast of Hengelo.
Historically, Delden was a separate municipality until January 1, 2001, when it was merged with Diepenheim, Goor, Markelo, and Ambt Delden to form the new municipality of Hof van Twente.
Delden is known for its picturesque center, its proximity to Twickel Castle (Kasteel Twickel) and the surrounding Twickel estate, which is a significant cultural and historical landmark. The town's economy is largely based on tourism and agriculture, although there are also various industries present.
