Deir Ful
Deir Ful (also transliterated as Dayr Ful, Dir Ful, or similar variations) is a Palestinian village located in the Jenin Governorate of the West Bank. It is situated northeast of Jenin city.
The village's economy is largely based on agriculture, with olives, grains, and vegetables being the primary crops. Animal husbandry also contributes to the livelihood of some residents.
Historical information about Deir Ful is limited, but like many villages in the region, it has likely been inhabited for centuries. It has been affected by the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Population figures for Deir Ful are subject to change and can be found in demographic surveys conducted by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS). Access to land and resources is often a challenge for residents.
Deir Ful is governed by a village council, which is responsible for managing local affairs and infrastructure. The village lacks some basic services and infrastructure common in more developed areas. Educational opportunities are available, although access to higher education may require travel to nearby towns or cities.
