David Sherrington (cricketer)

David Sherrington (born July 12, 1957) is an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman who played primarily for Derbyshire.

Sherrington made his debut for Derbyshire in 1977 and played with the team until 1986. He scored a first-class century in 1984 against Hampshire. After leaving Derbyshire, he played Minor Counties cricket for Staffordshire. He also represented Minor Counties in the Benson & Hedges Cup.

He is not to be confused with the physicist David Sherrington.
