Ys Origin

Ys Origin is an action role-playing game developed and published by Nihon Falcom. It is the seventh game in the Ys series, but chronologically it is a prequel, taking place 700 years before the events of Ys I: Ancient Ys Vanished.

The initial playable characters are Yunica Tovah, a novice knight with a burning desire to find the goddesses, and Hugo Fact, a powerful mage seeking to prove himself. A third playable character, Toal Fact (Hugo's older brother), becomes available after completing the game with Yunica and Hugo. Each character has their own unique story arc and fighting style, providing distinct perspectives on the game's events.
