Jarace Walker

Jarace Walker (born September 7, 2003) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He primarily plays the power forward position.

Walker attended IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, where he was a five-star recruit and one of the top players in the 2022 high school class. He committed to playing college basketball for the University of Houston.

In his freshman season (2022-2023) with the Houston Cougars, Walker was named to the American Athletic Conference (AAC) All-Freshman Team and the AAC All-Tournament Team. He averaged 11.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per game, helping lead Houston to a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Following his freshman season, Walker declared for the 2023 NBA draft. He was selected by the Washington Wizards with the eighth overall pick and subsequently traded to the Indiana Pacers. Walker is known for his athleticism, defensive versatility, and developing offensive game.
