Coco Lee

Coco Lee (李玟, born Ferren Lee; January 17, 1975 – July 5, 2023) was a Hong Kong-American singer, songwriter, dancer, record producer, and actress.

Lee achieved international recognition and success throughout her career, releasing albums in Mandarin, English, and Cantonese. She was known for her powerful vocals, energetic performances, and diverse musical styles, which blended pop, R&B, and dance elements.

She was the first and only Chinese artist to perform at the Academy Awards, singing "A Love Before Time" from the film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon in 2001. She also voiced the role of Mulan in the Mandarin version of the Disney animated film Mulan.
