O.G.C.

O.G.C. is a hip-hop group from Brooklyn, New York, composed of rappers Buckshot, Top Dawg, Louieville Sluggah, and Starang Wondah. The acronym stands for Originoo Gunn Clappaz. They are associated with the Boot Camp Clik, a larger hip-hop collective also based in Brooklyn. O.G.C. gained prominence in the mid-1990s with their debut album Da Storm, released in 1996. Their music is characterized by hard-hitting beats and lyrical prowess, often focusing on street narratives and the realities of life in their Brooklyn neighborhood. While they have released solo projects and remained active within the Boot Camp Clik, Da Storm remains their most well-known and commercially successful work as a group.
