Charles Gore (MP)

Charles Gore (1729 – 18 July 1807) was a British politician and High Sheriff.

Gore was born in Southampton, the son of Thomas Gore. He was educated at Eton College (1744) and admitted at the Inner Temple in 1747.

He served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Christchurch from 1761 to 1768. He was also High Sheriff of Hampshire in 1770.

Gore married Mary Hay in 1755. He died in 1807.
