Cobarde
A cobarde (Spanish for "coward") is a person who demonstrates a lack of courage, especially in the face of danger or adversity. The term denotes someone easily intimidated, fearful, and prone to avoiding situations perceived as risky or challenging. Cowardice can manifest in various ways, including physical avoidance, betrayal of others to protect oneself, and a reluctance to stand up for what is right due to fear of consequences. The term carries a strongly negative connotation, suggesting a moral failing and a deficiency of character. The opposite of cobarde would be valiente (brave) or audaz (bold). The degree to which someone is considered cobarde is often subjective and depends on the specific circumstances and cultural context.
