Charles Chandler (rower)
Charles Chandler (born July 22, 1911, died December 22, 1982) was an American rower who competed in the 1932 Summer Olympics.
Chandler was a member of the American crew that won the gold medal in the eights event at the Los Angeles Games. The crew, representing the University of California, Berkeley, also included Edwin Salisbury, James Blair, Duncan Gregg, David Dunlap, Burton Jastram, Charles Kieffer, and Don Hume, with their coxswain being Elmore "Corky" King.
Little biographical information is readily available beyond his Olympic participation and association with the University of California, Berkeley rowing program. His death occurred in Seattle, Washington.
