Akari (album)

Akari is the debut studio album by Japanese singer-songwriter Milet. It was released on June 3, 2020, through SME Records. The album features a blend of J-pop, rock, and electronic influences, and includes previously released singles such as "inside you," "us," and "Prover/Tell me." "Akari" debuted at number one on the Oricon Albums Chart, making it Milet's first number-one album in Japan. The album's title, "Akari," translates to "light" in Japanese and reflects the themes of hope, strength, and finding one's way that are prevalent throughout the lyrics. It was released in several editions, including a limited edition with a Blu-ray featuring music videos and live performances.
