Carlos Morales (footballer, born 1979)

Carlos Morales (born June 8, 1979) is a retired Paraguayan football midfielder. He spent the majority of his career in South America, playing for various clubs in Paraguay, Argentina, and Ecuador.

Morales began his professional career in Paraguay, featuring for teams like Club Guaraní and 12 de Octubre. He also had stints in Argentina with teams like Colón de Santa Fe and Quilmes Atlético Club. Further afield, he played in Ecuador for Deportivo Cuenca.

Throughout his career, Morales was known for his work rate and ability to contribute defensively in midfield. While not a prolific goalscorer, he played a valuable role in maintaining team balance and providing support to attacking players.
