Billy Williams (rugby, born 1925)
Billy Williams (born 1925) was a Welsh rugby union player. He was a prop who played club rugby for Cross Keys and Newport, and gained international caps for Wales. Williams was part of the Wales team that achieved the Grand Slam in the 1950 Five Nations Championship. He also played for the British Lions on their tour of Australia and New Zealand in the same year. His aggressive style of play and uncompromising tackling made him a formidable opponent.
