Billy McGhie (footballer, born 1958)

Billy McGhie (born 18 October 1958) is a Scottish former professional footballer. A versatile player, McGhie primarily played as a defender, capable of operating at both full-back and centre-back. He also occasionally played in midfield.

McGhie began his professional career with Partick Thistle, making his debut in the late 1970s. He spent several years at Firhill, becoming a regular in the Thistle side. He was known for his strong tackling and commitment.
