Alec Bohm

Alec Bohm (born August 3, 1996) is an American professional baseball third baseman for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Bohm played college baseball for the Wichita State Shockers. He was drafted by the Phillies with the third overall pick in the 2018 MLB draft. Bohm made his MLB debut in 2020 and finished second in National League Rookie of the Year voting.

Bohm is known for his hitting ability, particularly his prowess at generating hard contact and his ability to use the whole field. His defensive abilities at third base have been a subject of ongoing development, with a focus on improving his consistency and range.
