James Morris (British politician)

James Morris (born 12 September 1967) is a British Conservative Party politician. He has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Halesowen and Rowley Regis since the 2010 general election.

Morris was educated at Eton College and graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Modern History. Before entering politics, he worked in business, including in advertising and marketing.

In Parliament, Morris has served on various select committees, including the Education Select Committee. He has taken a particular interest in issues related to skills, apprenticeships, and further education. He has also been involved in campaigns to improve local services and infrastructure in his constituency.

Morris held the position of Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities from September 2022 to November 2023.
