Daniel McLean (Canadian politician)
Daniel McLean (1844 – November 20, 1908) was a Canadian politician. He served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in Manitoba and also held various municipal offices.
McLean was born in Glengarry County, Upper Canada (now Ontario), in 1844. He moved to Manitoba and became involved in local politics.
He served as a Reeve of the Rural Municipality of Pembina.
McLean was elected to the Manitoba Legislative Assembly in 1888, representing Pembina. He served one term, until 1892. He was a member of the Liberal party during his time in the legislature.
Following his term in the Legislative Assembly, McLean continued to be involved in community affairs.
He died on November 20, 1908, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
