Diego Bossio

Diego Bossio (born September 26, 1979) is an Argentine economist and politician. He served as the Director Executive of the National Social Security Administration (ANSES) from 2009 to 2015, during the presidencies of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.

Bossio is affiliated with the Justicialist Party. During his tenure at ANSES, he oversaw significant expansion of social security programs and the implementation of the Universal Child Allowance (Asignación Universal por Hijo, AUH). He also played a key role in the management of the Sustainability Guarantee Fund (Fondo de Garantía de Sustentabilidad, FGS), the ANSES investment fund.

Following his departure from ANSES, Bossio was elected as a National Deputy for Buenos Aires Province in 2015. He served until 2019. During his time in Congress, he often took a moderate stance, sometimes distancing himself from the Kirchnerist bloc. His legislative work focused on economic and social policy.
