George Patterson (baseball)

George Patterson was an American professional baseball executive and scout. He is best known for his long tenure with the New York Yankees, where he served in various roles, including farm director, scouting director, and vice president.

Patterson joined the Yankees organization in the late 1940s as a scout. He quickly rose through the ranks, becoming farm director in the 1950s.
