Anthony Coombs (Canadian football)

Anthony Coombs (born November 23, 1992) is a former professional Canadian football running back. He played college football at the University of Manitoba.

Professional Career

Coombs was drafted third overall by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the 2014 CFL Draft. He played for the Blue Bombers from 2014 to 2017.

In 2018, Coombs signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He played for the Tiger-Cats in 2018 and 2019.

Coombs signed with the Ottawa Redblacks in 2020, but the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He officially retired from professional football in 2021.
