Freedom (TV series)

Freedom was an American post-apocalyptic television drama series that aired on UPN during the 2000-2001 television season. Created by James DeMonaco and Kevin Fox, the series starred Beah Richards, Holt McCallany, Scarlett Chorvat, and Erich Anderson.

The show centered around a group of survivors in the United States after a devastating plague wipes out most of the population. The plague, accidentally released by the government, leaves only a small percentage immune. The series follows the group as they travel across the ravaged landscape, seeking to rebuild society and uncover the truth behind the plague's origin. They face numerous dangers, including marauders, desperate survivors, and the ongoing threat of the virus itself.

The storylines often explored themes of survival, morality, the responsibility of government, and the struggle to maintain humanity in the face of extreme adversity. The series was cancelled after 13 episodes due to low ratings.
