Torneo Gran Alternativa (2011)
Torneo Gran Alternativa (2011) was a professional wrestling tournament held by the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) in 2011. The Gran Alternativa tournament pairs a veteran CMLL wrestler with a rookie wrestler for a tag team competition. The purpose of the tournament is to showcase up-and-coming talent alongside established stars.
The 2011 tournament was the 17th annual Gran Alternativa tournament held by CMLL. The tournament consisted of two separate qualifying blocks held on July 15 and July 22, 2011, respectively. The winners of each block met in the final on July 29, 2011.
The team of Ángel de Oro and Ángel de Plata won the 2011 tournament, defeating Ephesto and Disturbio in the final.
