Beloomut

Beloomut is a historical village located in the Moscow Oblast of Russia. It is situated on the Oka River.

Historically, Beloomut was known for its limestone quarries. The limestone extracted from these quarries was used extensively in the construction of Moscow, particularly during the 15th and 16th centuries. The white stone derived from the Beloomut quarries contributed significantly to the architectural landscape of the city and is often referred to as "Beloomut stone".
