Terra Nova River (Pernambuco)

The Terra Nova River is a river located in the state of Pernambuco, Brazil. It is a tributary of the São Francisco River, flowing into it in the municipality of Cabrobó. The river is seasonal, its flow heavily dependent on rainfall patterns in the semi-arid region of Pernambuco. The river basin is utilized primarily for agriculture and cattle raising. The Terra Nova River, like many rivers in the Brazilian Northeast, faces challenges related to water scarcity and occasional periods of drought.
