Josh Morris (Australian footballer)
Josh Morris (born 23 August 1986) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played as a centre. An Australian international and New South Wales State of Origin representative, he was known for his strong defence and try-scoring ability.
Morris played for the Parramatta Eels, Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks and Sydney Roosters in the National Rugby League (NRL).
His NRL career spanned from 2007 to 2021. He made his debut for the Parramatta Eels before moving to the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs where he spent a significant portion of his career, establishing himself as a consistent performer. He later played for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks before finishing his career at the Sydney Roosters.
Morris represented New South Wales in State of Origin on numerous occasions and played for the Australian national team. He is the twin brother of fellow rugby league footballer Brett Morris.
