Ōe Taku
Ōe Taku (大江卓, born 1957) is a Japanese political scientist and academic. He specializes in the study of political theory, particularly contemporary political thought and the history of political thought.
Ōe is Professor Emeritus at the University of Tokyo, having previously held professorships in the Faculty of Law and the Graduate Schools for Law and Politics. His research interests include liberalism, democracy, theories of justice, and the works of thinkers such as John Rawls, Jürgen Habermas, and Michel Foucault.
