Billy Jackson (boxer)

Billy Jackson (born c. 1916, died December 10, 1980) was an American boxer who competed professionally from 1937 to 1948. Jackson fought primarily as a middleweight, though he also competed in light heavyweight and welterweight contests. He was known for his aggressive style and punching power. While he never won a world title, he fought many notable opponents of his era, including Tony Zale, Georgie Abrams, and Rocky Graziano. Jackson's career record includes a number of wins against ranked fighters, contributing to his reputation as a tough and durable competitor. He retired from boxing in 1948.
