Death Rattle (comics)
Death Rattle was an alternative comics anthology published by Kitchen Sink Press. It was known for its eclectic mix of underground comix creators and emerging talents, showcasing a range of styles and genres, including humor, horror, science fiction, and personal narratives. The anthology ran for 15 issues from 1972 to 1977, with a brief revival in 1985 for two more issues.
Death Rattle was considered an important outlet for independent and experimental comics during its initial run. Contributors included notable figures in the underground comix movement, as well as artists who would later become prominent in the alternative comics scene.
