Markus Kurth (politician)

Markus Kurth (born August 5, 1966 in Detmold) is a German politician of the Green Party (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen). He has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2002.

Kurth studied political science, modern history, and public law at the University of Bonn, graduating with a Magister Artium degree. He worked as a parliamentary advisor for the Green parliamentary group in the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from 1995 to 2002.
