Andrea Thomas (gymnast)

Andrea Thomas (born November 22, 1968) is a retired American gymnast. She was a member of the United States women's gymnastics team at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. Thomas qualified individually for the all-around final, where she finished 18th. She also contributed to the team's performance, which resulted in a fourth-place finish, just outside the medal standings. Prior to the Olympics, Thomas competed in various national and international competitions, earning recognition for her skills on the uneven bars and balance beam. She trained under coach Béla Károlyi at his Houston-based gym. Following her competitive career, Thomas pursued other interests, although specifics regarding her post-gymnastics endeavors are less widely documented.
