Alan Whitehead (cricketer)
Alan Whitehead (born 15 December 1963) is an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman who played primarily as a wicket-keeper.
Whitehead played Minor Counties cricket for Devon from 1986 to 1998, making his debut against Cornwall. He represented Devon in 61 Minor Counties Championship matches and 38 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches.
He made a single List A appearance for Devon against Somerset in the 1990 NatWest Trophy. He also played List A cricket for the Minor Counties cricket team, making 2 appearances in the 1994 Benson & Hedges Cup against Worcestershire and Gloucestershire. In his combined List A career, he scored 19 runs at an average of 6.33, with a high score of 13. As a wicket-keeper, he took 4 catches and made one stumping in List A matches.
