Air Spain

Air Spain was a Spanish charter airline operating primarily from 2003 to 2006. Its main base of operations was Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI). The airline focused on providing charter services for tour operators, connecting various European cities, including those in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Germany, with popular holiday destinations in Spain and the Mediterranean.

Air Spain's fleet consisted primarily of Airbus A320 family aircraft. The airline faced financial difficulties, eventually leading to its collapse and cessation of operations in December 2006, leaving many passengers stranded during the holiday season. The failure of Air Spain was attributed to a combination of factors, including high fuel prices, intense competition in the charter market, and internal management issues. Following its collapse, the airline's assets were liquidated.
