25th Street station (BMT Fourth Avenue Line)
The 25th Street station is a local station on the BMT Fourth Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of 4th Avenue and 25th Street in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, it is served by the R train at all times. The N train also serves the station during late nights and weekends.
The station has two side platforms and four tracks. The two center tracks are used by express trains. Each platform has a beige windscreen and canopy in the center and full-height beige windscreens at either end. The station's tile band is primarily maroon with a black border, featuring small "25" tile mosaics at regular intervals.
The station opened on June 22, 1915, as part of the initial portion of the Fourth Avenue Line.
