Cavignac

Cavignac is a commune in the Gironde department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France. It is located approximately 35 kilometers northeast of Bordeaux. The local economy is primarily based on agriculture, including viticulture. Cavignac is part of the Canton of Le Nord-Gironde and the Arrondissement of Blaye. The inhabitants of Cavignac are known as Cavignacais.
