2018 European Championship (darts)

The 2018 European Championship was a professional darts tournament, organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). It took place from October 25 to October 28, 2018, at the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund, Germany. It was the eleventh edition of the European Championship.

The tournament featured the top 32 players from the PDC European Tour Order of Merit. Michael van Gerwen was the defending champion, having won the title in 2017.

The format of the tournament was a single-elimination bracket. Matches in the first round were best of 11 legs, second round matches were best of 19 legs, quarter-finals were best of 19 legs, semi-finals were best of 21 legs, and the final was best of 21 legs.

James Wade won the tournament, defeating Simon Whitlock in the final. This was Wade's first European Championship title and his eighth major PDC title overall.
