Patrick Leonard (baseball)

Patrick Leonard (born March 28, 1992) is an American former professional baseball player. He played primarily as an infielder.

Leonard attended Creighton Preparatory School in Omaha, Nebraska, and was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the fifth round of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft.

He played in the minor league systems of the Mariners, Tampa Bay Rays, and Washington Nationals organizations from 2010 to 2017. Leonard reached as high as the Triple-A level with the Syracuse Chiefs in the Nationals' system.

While primarily a third baseman, Leonard also played second base and shortstop during his professional career.

Following his playing career, Leonard has been involved in coaching baseball.
