Xia Yong

Xia Yong (夏永) (fl. 14th century) was a Chinese painter of the Yuan Dynasty. His specific dates of birth and death are unknown.

Xia Yong specialized in painting figures, landscapes, and pavilions, particularly known for his meticulously detailed depictions of architectural structures rendered in the jiehua (ruled-line painting) style. He excelled at using precise lines and accurate perspective to represent buildings, often incorporating figures to animate the scenes.

While few authenticated works by Xia Yong survive today, he is documented in historical texts and catalogues of Chinese painting.
