XVI Corps (India)
The XVI Corps is a corps of the Indian Army. It is headquartered in Nagrota, Jammu and Kashmir, and is responsible for maintaining security along the Line of Control (LoC) with Pakistan in the Jammu region, specifically south of the Pir Panjal range. The Corps is also involved in counter-insurgency operations within its area of responsibility.
