Rational Youth (EP)

Rational Youth (EP) is a self-titled extended play record by the Canadian synth-pop band Rational Youth, released in 1981. It is considered by many to be their debut recording, predating their full-length albums. The EP features early versions of songs that would later appear on their albums, and is significant for showcasing the band's nascent synth-pop sound and early experimentation. The recording is notable for its minimalist approach to electronic music, incorporating elements of new wave and punk sensibilities into its synth-driven soundscapes.
