X Factor (German TV series) season 2
X Factor (German TV series) season 2 was the second season of the German adaptation of the British singing competition The X Factor, which aired on VOX in 2011. The season sought to find new singing talent – solo artists and vocal groups – drawn from public auditions. The winner was David Pfeffer, mentored by Till Brönner in the 16-24s category.
The judging panel consisted of Sarah Connor, Till Brönner, and George Glueck. Michelle Hunziker and Uke Bosse served as presenters.
The season followed a similar format to the first, with open auditions, bootcamp, judges' houses, and live shows. Contestants were divided into categories: 16-24s, Over 25s, and Groups. Each judge was responsible for mentoring one category.
Key differences from the first season included changes in the judging panel and presenters, and a slightly adjusted format for the live shows. The season also saw a greater emphasis on the personal stories of the contestants.
Notable contestants included Edita Abdieski (2nd place) and Nica & Joe (3rd place). The winner, David Pfeffer, released an album following the show's conclusion.
