Xiao Qin

Xiao Qin (肖钦) is a retired Chinese gymnast. He was a specialist on the pommel horse and won multiple international medals on this apparatus, including an Olympic gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Xiao Qin was born on January 12, 1985, in Nanjing, Jiangsu province. He began gymnastics training at a young age.

His major achievements include:

• 2006 World Championships, Aarhus: Gold medal, pommel horse
• 2007 World Championships, Stuttgart: Gold medal, pommel horse
• 2008 Olympic Games, Beijing: Gold medal, pommel horse; Gold medal, team event
• 2009 World Championships, London: Gold medal, pommel horse

He retired from competitive gymnastics after the 2012 London Olympics.
