Sjølisand

Sjølisand is a village in Stor-Elvdal municipality, Innlandet county, Norway. It is located along the Glomma river, approximately 20 kilometers south of Koppang, the municipal center. Sjølisand is situated in the Østerdalen valley. Its economy is primarily based on agriculture, forestry, and some tourism related to the river and surrounding natural environment. Historically, the Glomma river played a significant role in timber floating, which contributed to the development of Sjølisand.
