Workers Revolutionary Party (Namibia)

The Workers Revolutionary Party (WRP) is a Trotskyist political party in Namibia. It advocates for a socialist revolution and the establishment of a workers' state. The WRP’s political platform generally centers on issues such as land redistribution, nationalization of key industries, and improved social services. The party has historically been critical of the ruling SWAPO party, accusing it of betraying the original ideals of Namibian independence and failing to adequately address economic inequality. The WRP has participated in national elections but has not achieved significant electoral success. Its support base is primarily among some segments of the working class and marginalized communities. The party is affiliated with the Fourth International (International Committee).
