William Henry Foster (Bridgnorth MP)

William Henry Foster (1846 – 1924) was a British businessman and Conservative politician. He served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bridgnorth from 1892 to 1904.

Born to William Orme Foster, a significant figure in the iron industry, William Henry followed in his father's footsteps, becoming involved in the family's business interests, including iron and coal mining. He was educated at Eton College and Christ Church, Oxford.

Foster entered Parliament in 1892, representing the Bridgnorth constituency in Shropshire. During his tenure, he largely supported Conservative policies. He resigned his seat in 1904.

Beyond his political and business career, Foster was a Justice of the Peace and a Deputy Lieutenant for Shropshire.
