Douglas Cameron (politician)
Douglas Cameron (born December 6, 1879, Perth County, Ontario – died October 9, 1968) was a Canadian politician. He represented the electoral district of Glengarry in the House of Commons of Canada from 1921 to 1925 as a member of the Liberal Party.
Cameron was a farmer and a livestock dealer prior to entering politics. He was educated at public schools in Glengarry County. He served as a councillor for Kenyon Township for a number of years. In 1921, he successfully ran for the federal seat of Glengarry, defeating the incumbent Conservative MP John Angus McMillan. He served a single term in Parliament. In the 1925 general election, he was defeated by McMillan. He did not run for public office again.
