Avello (motorcycle)
Avello was a Spanish motorcycle manufacturer active from 1950 to the mid-1960s. Based in Gijón, Asturias, the company produced lightweight motorcycles and mopeds, primarily using two-stroke engines. Their models were generally aimed at the domestic market, providing affordable transportation in post-war Spain. While not known for high performance or innovation, Avello motorcycles were considered reliable and practical for everyday use. Production ceased due to increasing competition from larger Spanish manufacturers and the growing popularity of automobiles. The brand is now largely forgotten outside of Spain.
