William Dickson (footballer, born 1866)

William Dickson (born in 1866, date of death unknown) was a Scottish footballer who played as a forward. His career included spells with Renton and Dumbarton in the early years of professional football in Scotland.

While with Renton, Dickson was part of the team that won the Scottish Cup in 1885 and 1888. He also featured in Renton's victory over West Bromwich Albion in 1888, a match that saw Renton proclaimed "World Champions."
