Luis García (pitcher, born 1996)

Luis García (born April 17, 1996) is a Venezuelan professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball (MLB).

García signed with the Houston Astros as an international free agent in 2017. He made his Major League debut on September 4, 2020.

García is known for his effective fastball and deceptive changeup. He played a significant role in the Astros' pitching staff, particularly in the 2021 and 2022 seasons, contributing to their playoff runs and World Series championship in 2022.
