London North Centre (provincial electoral district)

London North Centre is a provincial electoral district in Ontario, Canada. It elects one member to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. Located in the city of London, it covers the central-northern portion of the municipality.

The riding was created in 1999 from parts of London North and London Centre. Its boundaries have been adjusted several times in subsequent redistributions, including after the 2018 federal electoral boundaries redistribution.

Geographically, London North Centre encompasses a diverse range of neighbourhoods, from dense residential areas near downtown to more suburban communities further north. It includes significant commercial corridors and educational institutions, including Western University and Fanshawe College's downtown campus.

Historically, the riding has been a competitive one, with representation from the Liberal, Progressive Conservative, and New Democratic parties. The political landscape of London North Centre is influenced by a mix of factors, including the student population, the presence of government and institutional employees, and the concerns of long-time residents in established neighbourhoods. Election results often reflect the broader provincial political trends, but local issues and candidate appeal also play a significant role in determining the outcome.
