elseq 1–5

elseq 1–5 refers to a collection of five extended plays (EPs) released by British electronic music duo Autechre in 2016. The EPs, titled elseq 1, elseq 2, elseq 3, elseq 4, and elseq 5, were released sequentially between May 18 and June 3, 2016, via Warp Records.

The elseq series is notable for its immense length and complexity. Across the five EPs, there are 21 tracks, totaling over four hours of music. Musically, elseq 1–5 is considered to be a further exploration of Autechre's signature sound, characterized by intricate rhythms, abstract sound design, and a generally experimental approach to electronic music composition.
